On Saturday 25th August 2012 we will be holding another Ceilidh in Christ the King Parish Hall in memory of Murdo with all proceeds donated to the Murdoch MacLean Tribute Fund. I hope you can join us and make it another successful evening.

Thanks to Phoebe MacNeil & family for their kind request for donations to the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in lieu of gifts for Phoebe’s 70th Birthday. A total of £300 was collected and was added to Murdo’s Tribute Fund.

Due to the fantastic response to the fundraising dance we have decided to set a date for another dance next year - Friday 3rd September in Christ the King Parish Hall. Hope everyone who helped make it such a great success will join us again next year.

On Friday 28th August many family and friends joined us at a Ceilidh in Christ the King Parish Hall held in memory of Murdo with all proceeds donated to the Murdoch MacLean Tribute Fund.
Thank you to everyone who supported this very special event including The Glasgow Uist & Barra Association, Reigart Contracts Ltd and Harlequin Youth Theatre Group for their very generous donations.
Thanks to Celtic Football Club, The Vatersay Boys, Circa Carrino Hair & Beauty, Unique Touch Hair & Beauty, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Tesco Rutherglen, Morrison’s Baillieston, Marriot Hotel Glasgow, The Redmoss Hotel, Easterton Stables, Tunnock’s Uddingston and everyone else who donated prizes for the raffle simply too many people to mention individually.
Also thanks to Duncan MacKinnon, Micheal Garvin, Mike Dowds, James MacKenzie and The Stamperland Pipe Band for the fantastic musical entertainment.
Finally thanks to Christ the King Parish Hall Committee and bar staff for their support and hard work. A total of £5335 was raised from this event.

On Sunday 10th May 18 ladies took part in the Ignis Asset Management Women’s 10K fun run. So far a fantastic £5500 in sponsorship has been donated to the Murdoch MacLean Tribute fund. Well done all of you!!!
